Ominous Key

Date:  July 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: I was given the prompt “Ominous key,” where I used the key colors from the game to create an asset that embodies the brief and fits the game’s aesthetic. The key is designed as a metal piece with a gemstone secured by intertwined wood branches. Glowing purple runes are etched at the bottom, and the head of the key is shaped like a skull, adding an eerie and mystical quality.

Willow's Journal Pages

Date:  August 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: I was given the prompt “Willow’s Journal Pages” and, through studying the character description, I envisioned Willow as an expressive, slightly disorganized character. This design features colorful pages filled with random doodles and scribbles, capturing her chaotic and creative personality within the game’s aesthetic.

Poisoned Soil

Date:  October, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: I was given the prompt “Poisoned Soil,” so I designed a bag that aligns with the game’s aesthetic, incorporating subtle details within the soil to indicate its tainted nature. Additionally, I added the same glowing purple aura from the ominous key to create a cohesive, eerie atmosphere that enhances the visual storytelling.

Willow's Wand

Date: September, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: I created Willow’s wand featuring a blue gemstone at the top, aligning with the game’s color scheme. The wand is crafted from wood, with roots wrapping around it to emphasize its natural and mystical qualities. Initially, I added cobwebs and moss to suggest the wand had been lost for a longer period, but removed these details as the story indicated the character was only missing for a few days.

Abandoned Spell Sheets

Date: August, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: Given the prompt “Abandoned Spell Sheets,” I designed these pieces to capture the essence of forgotten magic. The paper is rough and stained, filled with spell-like symbols and cryptic markings, creating an atmosphere of research, mystery, and neglected enchantments.

Incense Oil

Date: November, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “Incense Oil,” I designed a small bottle with a cork top, filled with yellow oil tinged with green and small bubbles. The simple, natural appearance of the bottle aims to convey a sense of ease and subtle charm, blending seamlessly into the game’s world without raising suspicion.

Beltane Love Potion

Description: For the prompt “Beltane Love Potion,” I created a simple vial featuring a pink, heart-shaped silver topper that reveals the bright pink liquid inside. This design serves as a straightforward visual indicator of the potion, conveying its purpose with simplicity and elegance. The heart-shaped detail emphasizes its romantic and enchanting nature, aligning with the theme of love and attraction.

History textbook

Date: December, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “History Textbook,” I illustrated an open leather-bound book with pages covered in abstract scribbles and detailed drawings, including a globe sketch on the side. The design gives the impression of an ancient and treasured textbook, rich in history and stories. The simplicity of the scribbles paired with the globe illustration adds an element of mystery and intrigue

Shards of Ore

Date: November, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “Shards of Ore,” I created an illustration featuring geometric shapes of varying sizes in shades of blue and grey. The shards are designed to convey a sense of  natural beauty along with the crystal shaped edges and contrasting colors adding depth and visual interest. This composition aims to evoke the impression of precious, scattered ore, emphasizing both its elegance and ruggedness.

Old Pair of Glasses

Date: October, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “Old Glasses,” I illustrated a pair of round-framed glasses with noticeable cracks and small missing pieces in the glass. The design captures the worn and vintage look, suggesting a sense of history and character. The imperfections add depth and detail, creating a nostalgic and intriguing visual that hints at the story and life these glasses have witnessed.

Rose Hip

Date: September, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “Rose Hip,” I created an illustration featuring a cluster of three rose hips. The design focuses on the natural simplicity and subtle beauty of the rose hips, showcasing their rich color and delicate form.

Moonlace

Date: November, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “Moonlace,” I created an illustration inspired by the game’s description of the plant glowing at night with a faint blue color in moonlight. The design mimics the appearance of wisteria, but with a unique twist as the flowers are depicted in a soft, greyish-blue hue. This choice captures the ethereal, otherworldly quality of the moonlace, emphasizing its delicate and mysterious nature as it softly illuminates the night.

Glowing Sunbloom

Date: November, 2023

Medium: Procreate

Description: For the prompt “Glowing Sunbloom,” I illustrated a funnel-shaped flower that blooms at the heart of spring. The sunbloom radiates warmth and emits a gentle glow that continues even after it has been picked. Its magical nature is reflected in the way it evokes different feelings and memories for each person who encounters it, adding a sense of mystery and personal connection. The flower’s soft luminescence and warm presence convey its enchanting and otherworldly quality.
